Now, I wanna share a tutorial to you about installing Android X86 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on SD Card in my ACER Netbook. Follow this tutorial step by step and enjoy this Android which support with physic keyboard and touchpad / mouse. First step, you should download the Android .iso from android-x86.org or just click this link. It’s about 185 MB. Then you must download the Unetbootin for make an installer. I use Windows 7 to make it. After those file have been downloaded, prepare the Netbook or Laptop, SD Card (2 GB or higher), an USB Flash disk (1 GB or higher) for installer. You must know that I use SD Card and USB Flash disk just to ease where will you install the Android OS. Don’t forget, this way will not modifying your original boot loader. You can replace the SD card with an USB flash disk or if you wanna use 2 SD card, it’s no problem.
Open the unetbootin, change the Diskimage with android .iso file that have you downloaded before. Choose the USB Flash disk at selection Drive then click OK.
Wait for a moment and click Reboot Now.
Enter Boot menu and select Boot tab. In my ACER Aspire, to entering boot menu you must press F2 after the Acer logo appear. Change the boot priority order. In the main boot priority (No. 1), select the USB Flash Disk. In my case, I used Kingston Data Traveler. Save and Reboot (press F10).
After reboot, you can see the UNetbootin menu like this picture. You can run android without installation if you will try it before installing.
Choose installation – install android-x86 to harddisk with down arrow of keyboard, insert the SD Card or the other USB Flash Disk then press ENTER.
In menu Select Partition, you can see some partition of your harddisk, your USB Flash Disk (Installer), and the SD Card or the second USB Flash disk where we will install the android OS. You should choose the SD Card. In my case, the SD Card was detected as sdb1 FAT16 Storage Device. Press OK.
You have a choice to format the SD Card. But if you select do not format, it will not make a problem.
Choose Yes to install / make a boot loader GRUB.
Loading to make a bootloader. Wait for a moment please. :)
Select Yes again to create the image.
You will see a processing of Creating data.img.
Android x-86 is installed successfully. You can create a fake SD Card, Reboot after installation, or Run this Android x-86 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Your Android is ready to use now, click start with your mouse or your touchpad. Exactly look like ASUS Eepad Transformer, isn’t it? Hahaha…
You can make a many shortcut, widget, multitasking, and also make a folder of your shortcuts.
This Android works with :
– Physic Keyboard
– Camera (a lot of Bugs)
– Keyboard combination like ctrl+c to copy and ctrl+v to paste
– USB Flash Disk
This Android does not work with :
– USB Modem
– Accelerometer (gravity sensor)
– and of course Touch Screen :D
